Triotherm is designed and supplied by Meesenburg, a renowned German wholesaler for window and door components. prodomo Ireland is the Irish distributor for Triotherm.

 

What is the main application for Triotherm?

Triotherm was originally designed as a certified system for installing windows and doors directly in the external insulation layer, beyond the building structure. Here in Ireland the main application for Triotherm is the use as insulated door upstand.

 

What is Triotherm made off ?

The main component of the Triotherm system is made of Graphite EPS but in a more dense design in comparison to standard EWI boards.

 

Is Triotherm an approved product ?

Triotherm is a comprehensively tested and approved system with a wide variety of 3rd party certifications.

 

What door weight will Triotherm support?

In theory there´s no door that Triotherm can´t be supported by Triotherm insulated door upstands. So far, one of the heaviest doors here in Ireland, where Triotherm has been used as insulated door upstand, has a weight of 700kg.

 

How will Triotherm be supplied ?

It´s coming in handy sizes of 1,175mm (or 1,200mm for bespoke dimensions) and can be joint on side due to interlockings.

 

Who does the installation of Triotherm ?

It´s mainly the contractor on site, who installs Triotherm insulated door upstands. Some window suppliers are taking care of the installation as part of their package.
